Report by aban - 2019-06-11I just received a call from someone claiming to be with the IRS and that I need to call them or an arrest warrant will be issued. When I called the number back a man with a foreign accent answered. He said I owed money from a loan I took out over the internet. I asked him for his name and he hung up on me.

My Mom had rec'd a phone call from a # that showed up on my caller ID as A7CADCDE6DTH. The woman asked for me by my maiden name, which i haven't used in years. She then proceeded to tell me that there were 3 complaints against me at my address & ssn. (which had been in jeopardy a few years back due to fraudulent debt) I immediately knew this was a scam because the Ssn was never in jeopardy of being changed. I have never resided in the state of TN so i didn't even have a clue it was a scam. She then asked me to verify my address which was the same address the caller was calling from. I immediately informed her that i already verified this information with the local police Station and she was mistaken because i was never there. I told her that the Ssn was never in jeopardy of being changed that I didn't even know the person they were trying to locate. My Mom immediately knew this was a scam because the Ssn was not even in my name prior to them even trying to get a hold of it. They also told my mom that they were taking me to court, which of course i know was a lie because i had been cleared. My mom told them to give her the case number & date that they were supposedly taking me to court. My mom has given
