This is a number for a company or collection agency that has taken out a loan through a "backorder" company from an unnamed and unverified company in the Houston area. They called me today after several attempts from my answering service; they refused to tell me what the problem was and wanted to hear from me or my lawyer before they could discuss it. When asked how I know it was a legitimate debt, they said it is my "duty to pay it, and that they had some choice words for me if I didn't. They then proceeded to call me rude names, telling me I was a stupid cow and hung up. They have called me from several different phone numbers, some spoofed, some not.

This exact thing just happened to me, and there is no way it's true. I don't even remember taking out a cash advance, so I called my bank to verify my identity and nothing was on my credit report that indicated any bank transaction was made under my name or social, but I didn't tell anyone else, because I don't want them looking into my account and getting my card number. If it were a legit bill, I would think that they do business that way. When she answered the phone, it sounded like my message box was full, and they asked for my husband. I didn't even tell him about the call or anything, I just asked for her info and
